You could have debris packed into there, and there's always a chance there is pitting of the metal against which the diaphragm's o-ring rides. Clean and polish that surface if needed. Same thing for the sealing face of the handle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall rehabbing your fuel valve isn't so difficult. Just be methodical and you'll do fine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOh, and unfortunately we have yet to find a supplier for the screens that fit onto the inlet\/top side of the petcock.
