Partway through the 2020 model year, specifically with VIN X8JMH037XLU230458, the factory switched from the old steel clutch release arm to the new forged aluminum lever (IMZ-8.1040-03023).
This slider works with the forged aluminum arm only.
It's pretty unlikely you'll ever need to replace this.
