This is the plastic version of the front timing cover for Ural engines using the Type V ignition system. If you think "But... plastic sucks!", well, plastic also does better at letting the heat out of the enclosed space, which was a problem. Actually the Type V attempted to fix this heat problem by moving the electronic components outside.
The important thing is that this has the cutouts for the ignition wires (high tension wires) on both sides. It also has a cutout near the bottom of the left side, which is for the connection to the "hockey puck" external ignition controller.
This will work fine for earlier ignition systems, but you might want to find a way to seal up the unused cutout. (Or leave it open on the idea that it helps with fresh air flow. You're not too likely to get water all the way up onto the Hall effect sensor. Probably.)
