    This is the generic version of the seal. Still FKM (Viton), and we'd trust it to do the job anytime.

    This seals the alternator drive gear to the alternator adapter. If this seal leaks, you’ll see engine out leaking out of the alternator adapter. (A leak here can be the result of a faulty alternator drive shaft, too.)

    This seal is also used in 2WD final drives, in two places. One location is the final drive end of the 2WD drive shaft, where it really just holds the spacer in the fork assembly during removal/installation.

    The other 2WD final drive location is internal, where this seals the distance bushing (IMZ-8.107-05416-10) to the inside of the driven gear hub (IMZ-8.128-05229).

    Why the part number starts with 06 (front wheel) is a mystery to us.
