Starter motor

Taiwan-made starter motor that replaced the old Russian and Ukrainian ones starting in model year 2016. And it fits every Ural that came with a starter motor bolted to the left side of the engine, which means 1998-1/2 through 2025. (Ural has had more than a few mid-year changes that were significant, and the starter motor in 1998 was one of them.)

This is smaller than the old starter motors, and it spins the engine much faster. Carbureted bikes will start faster than you can blink**, with one of these. It's magical.**

If you like trivia, there was a Hitachi starter/generator that mounted where your alternator goes. They were bad. This starter motor would not replace one of those.
